    The youngest of the Produttori cru wines, which saw the light of day in 1978. The palate reveals ripe, silky fruit and an important structure.

    Rio Sordo Riserva is particularly dense, rich and balanced. On the nose we find roses, spices and raspberries. Very complex on the palate, with marvellous depth and juiciness. Rio Sordo offers a taut and sharp fruit on the nose, which is rounded off with some tannin and crispness on the finish. The floral notes that develop with good aeration or further ageing in the bottle right through to the final make this Barbaresco Riserva irresistible even at a young age. SUPERIORE.DE

    "The Barbaresco Riserva Rio Sordo 2020 comes from an area further away from the Tanaro River with a south-westerly exposure. It shows a typical profile for Nebbiolo with rich fruit, a velvety mouthfeel and textural volume delivered with plenty of blackberry, blackcurrant and spice.
