Silvio Jermann was one of the first in Friuli to combine international grape varieties with local ones and to vinify them with Burgundian precision. This blend of Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit comes from top-class vineyards near Farra d'Isonzo and Dolegna del Collio, on marl and sandstone soils with a perfect microclimate. 

In the glass, it is a bright straw yellow with golden highlights. On the nose, it is complex and deep: ripe yellow fruit, dried pineapple, candied citrus notes, chamomile, honey, a hint of vanilla, wet stone and white pepper. On the palate, the wine is structured, full-bodied and yet astonishingly refined – underpinned by a salty minerality, fresh acidity and a harmonious interplay of the grape varieties. Partial ageing in wood (approx. 11 months) lends the wine texture and depth without weighing it down. The finish leaves a lingering hint of tropical fruit, delicate herbal spice and ripe yellow fruit. Vintage Tunina is not merely a soloist, but an orchestral masterpiece characterised by elegance, tension and enormous ageing potential.
