Schiopettos Friulano is youthful and unobtrusive, with a lovely bouquet that blends lemon zest with mint and hints of crushed stone. It washes over the palate with an exciting blend of citrusy acidity and salty minerality, whilst a core of tropical melon develops towards the finish. It ends on a more delicate note, yet is long-lasting, with lovely floral notes lingering on the finish. The lovely balance and underlying power of this wine will ensure it ages well in the bottle.
