    The Riserva version of the famous "Tralcetto" is a modern interpretation of Montepulciano from Abruzzo – — more powerful and dense, yet always true to its style. The 2021 vintage was selectively harvested by hand and, following traditional maceration, aged for nine months in large wooden casks, which lends the wine structure and depth.

    In the glass, a deep ruby red with violet highlights. On the nose, dark cherry, plum, liquorice and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with well-integrated tannins. The fruit remains ever-present, supported by spicy oaky notes and a delicate, ripe acidity. ‘Tralcetto’ Riserva 2021 is a successful step towards a sophisticated Montepulciano – — accessible, yet with noticeable substance and depth.
