Aristocratic, amphora-aged natural wine made from 100 per cent Zibibbo with a reductive, floral bouquet, notes of white and yellow stone fruit and a savoury, spicy herbal aroma. The flavours meld with great elegance on the palate, with delicate notes of peach and exotic fruit, long, fresh, mineral and an extremely interesting finish. "The COS 2023 Zibibbo in Pithos is made from a popular Sicilian grape variety called Zibibbo. The grapes come from the Marsala region and in the case of this wine, clay amphorae are used in the winemaking process. The effect is very special, as you get the floral sweetness of the variety with honeysuckle and preserved peach, but you also get some of the dustiness and mineral contour that comes with ageing in clay vats. The wine has a rich golden colour and a creamy finish." Wine Advocate
