A wine that conveys its authenticity with unpretentious elegance: Antigua is a harmonious blend of 85% Monica and 15% Carignano – grapes that ripen on limestone- and clay-rich soils in the Sulcis lowlands. The warm, dry climate lends them depth and aromatic richness, whilst the cool sea breeze imparts finesse and freshness. Following the harvest, traditional maceration with pump-overs takes place, after which the wine matures in concrete tanks to preserve its authenticity.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red with a violet rim. The nose presents a harmonious interplay of aromas, characterised by blackcurrant, red berries and a hint of dried herbs – elegant and precise. On the palate, it is round and dignified, with soft yet distinct tannins, finely integrated acidity and enticing fruitiness. The finish remains juicy and spicy, with subtle notes of liquorice and spice. Antigua is a charming expression of the Sardinian terroir – down-to-earth, distinct in character and a delight to drink.
