Pale copper colour with amber and salmon hues, the result of prolonged maceration on the skins of the Pinot Grigio grapes (Ramato). Straightforward, precise nose of white stone fruit, sweet spices and vanilla. Clearly structured and forward on the palate with tart berry fruit, light cherries, wild mint and a hint of bitter almond. The wine is dry and tangy, with a medium texture and an edgy, firm and mineral finish. The fruit comes from 9.3 hectares of shallow, rocky soils with reddish clay rich in iron oxide and aluminium, which ensures excellent drainage and contributes to the wine's structure and minerality."
