The trilogy is complete: following Core Rosso (since 2011) and Core Bianco (since 2015), Silvia Imparato rounds off her tribute to Campania's great grape varieties with the first Core Rosato 2025. Core – Neapolitan for "heart", for "love" – lives up to its name: the Rosato, too, comes from the volcanic vineyards of the Sannio region near Benevento, where tuff, volcanic ash and limestone lend the Aglianico a unique minerality. After brief skin contact, vinification proceeds as for a white wine under the guidance of Riccardo Cotarella.

In the glass, it shimmers in a delicate salmon pink with coppery highlights. The nose reveals redcurrant, blood orange and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it surprises with its body: juicy and mineral, with a fine texture and a final reminiscent of its big red brother. A rosé for a formal dinner, not for the beach bar. SUPERIORE.DE
