A wine like an ecosystem: "Misto Mare" is no ordinary white wine, but a polyphonic poem of nature from Alois Lageder. The blend combines grapes from over 14 white and red grape varieties from organically or biodynamically cultivated vineyards that are still in the process of converting to organic certification. The grapes come from a wide range of altitudes in South Tyrol – a reflection of regional diversity, captured in a single wine. The name "Misto Mare" refers to the geological past: Around 200 million years ago, South Tyrol was covered by a primordial sea. Today, vines grow there on what was once seabed, their complexity reminiscent of the former depths and the complex balance of marine habitats.

The "Kretzer" is South Tyrol's most traditional rosé. It is produced on calcareous clay soils between 260 and 380 metres above sea level from the autochthonous king grape variety par excellence. The name Kretzer comes from the medieval vinification process – the "Kretze", a woven wicker basket, was once used to separate must and berry skins. This historic rosé wine tradition is continued today using state-of-the-art cellar technology: The Lagrein grapes undergo traditional rosé vinification at a controlled temperature in stainless steel, where brief contact with the skins gives the wine its characteristic salmon red colour.

It was Celestino's first wife who made him do it. He made Amarone, Oseleta, Kairós – wines for collectors, lovers, connoisseurs. She said: make a wine for everyone else. For the person who simply wants a good red for dinner without thinking twice. The Rêverie was born – and Gaspari was serious about it. In a house known for its complexity, this wine is an attitude: simplicity as a quality goal. Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, Molinara and a touch of Oseleta – all from calcareous-argillaceous soils in Marcellise and Lavagno, hand-picked at the end of September. No appassimento, no wood. Cryo-maceration on the skins, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, ageing exclusively in steel. What remains is the purity of the grape varieties – and the 2023 vintage, which impressed in Valpolicella with its fresh acidity and aromatic clarity.

The grapes come from vineyards in Soave and Monteforte d'Alpone, where a fascinating geological peculiarity comes into play: this wine is the only Chardonnay cuvée from the winery that combines grapes from both volcanic basalt soils and limestone formations. This rare combination – volcanic lava meets sedimentary limestone layers – creates a complex terroir that gives the Chardonnay both mineral depth and structural elegance. 100% Sangiovese Grosso from the argilloso-sandy soils of the estate, interspersed with fossils, marl and limestone – the foundation on which the Brunello vines of Camigliano also stand. After 10 to 15 days of maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for six months in large French and Slavonian oak barrels, followed by six months of rest in the bottle. The 2024 vintage benefited from a cool, rainy September, which gave the Sangiovese the necessary time for slow, complete phenolic maturation after a hot summer – the result is wines of unusual freshness and fine contours.

This Rosso is far more than just the "little brother" of the legendary Brunello – it is a wine of character in its own right, combining the youthful freshness of the Sangiovese grape with the complexity of different vineyards. The grapes come from three strategically selected vineyards that cover the entire spectrum of the Caparzo terroirs: In the north, the Caparzo site at an altitude of 220 metres, in the south Il Cassero at 270 metres and in the east San Piero-Caselle at 250 metres. “Barco Reale” Rosso di Carmignano DOC 2023 (BIO)
The name tells a story: Barco Reale means "royal enclosure" and refers to the historic Medici hunting reserve, which was established in 1626 – a ring of walls over 50 kilometres long surrounded the area where Sangiovese, Cabernet and Canaiolo thrive today. Barco Reale Rosso is the younger, more accessible version of Carmignano DOCG, was awarded its own DOC status in 1994 and epitomises the elegance of this small but important Tuscan appellation. Tenuta di Capezzana has been run by the Contini Bonacossi family for five generations and represents over seventy per cent of the entire Carmignano production. The first documented mention of Capezzana dates back to 804, and as early as the 16th century, Caterina de' Medici had Cabernet cuttings brought to Carmignano from Bordeaux – centuries before the Super Tuscans discovered this idea for themselves. The winery has been certified organic since 2009.

The history of Lagrein cultivation in Alto Adige dates back to the 14th century. The Lagrein from St. Michael-Eppan is a characterful representative of its grape variety - powerful, but well-managed, with regional typicity and a clear profile. Grown on brooding, sandy-loamy soils in the Bolzano and Appiano area, the wine shows what South Tyrol's indigenous red wine variety can achieve in good hands. The 2024 vintage brought a balanced ripeness that allowed for freshness and depth in equal measure. After the classic mash fermentation, the wine matured for several months in large wooden barrels, which lends structure without overpowering the fruit.

Sur Sur is a fresh Grillo, named after the little cricket whose gentle chirping symbolises lightness and new beginnings – a loving reminder of the playful, unforced life of the Sibyllines that blossoms on Sicilian soil. The vines grow in the west of Sicily around Contessa Entellina, on clayey-loamy soils with a chalky structure, which give the wine a lively freshness and aromatic purity. The colour in the glass is a brilliant straw yellow, clear and inviting. The nose reveals floral notes, white peach fruit, melon, grapefruit and a hint of herbs. On the palate, Sur Sur is soft, with juicy fruit, fine acidity and a seductive grip that makes you want to take another sip right away – an uncomplicated Grillo with a sunny disposition and fine origins, perfect as an aperitif or a light accompaniment to antipasti and summer delights. The "Kretzer" is South Tyrol's most traditional rosé. It is produced on calcareous clay soils between 260 and 380 metres above sea level from the autochthonous king grape variety par excellence. The name Kretzer comes from the medieval vinification process – the "Kretze", a woven wicker basket, was once used to separate must and berry skins. This historic rosé wine tradition is continued today using state-of-the-art cellar technology: The Lagrein grapes undergo traditional rosé vinification at a controlled temperature in stainless steel, where brief contact with the skins gives the wine its characteristic salmon red colour.

“Cavallo delle Fate” Grillo Sicilia DOC 2025
The name says it all: Grillo means cricket – and in Sicilian folk tales, the cricket is the fairies' horse that carries them through the night on its back. "Cavallo delle Fate" therefore – the fairy horse. A wine that takes its name seriously: light at first glance, but with an energy that carries. Grillo is one of the oldest grape varieties in Sicily, a cross between Catarratto and Zibibbo, long known primarily for Marsala. In Regaleali, it grows on the hills of Sant'Anna and Piana Case Vecchie, 480 metres above sea level, facing south-east, in deep loamy, slightly calcareous soils. Tasca deliberately plays with two harvest times: Some of the grapes are harvested earlier – for freshness and minerality – the rest later, for body and structure. No wood, no malolactic fermentation, four months of maturation on the lees in steel tanks. Cool, precise, with respect for a grape variety that needs no disguise.
