In the hills of Panzano, in the heart of Chianti Classico, Valeria Viganò and Luca Orsini have been realising their vision of sustainable viticulture for over thirty years. On thirty hectares of organically certified land between 400 and 450 metres above sea level, they produce Cinciorosso – the charming "little brother" of the Le Cinciole family. The extremely inviting Rosso Toscana IGT combines 70% Sangiovese with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 5% Merlot. The grapes come from younger vineyards on the estate, where the Mediterranean climate and the well-draining Galestro soils create ideal conditions. Fermentation takes place traditionally with wild yeasts in cement tanks, followed by gentle ageing, also in concrete – a process that preserves the lively fruitiness and freshness of the vintage.

The name Cinciorosso reflects the playful character of this wine: the hand-drawn bird on the label already indicates that this wine is an invitation to relaxed enjoyment. The glass reveals a fruity, accessible red wine with soft tannins and a rich bouquet of red berries, underpinned by Mediterranean herbal notes. The biodynamic cultivation of the Orsinis, supported by solar energy and sustainable circular economy, gives the Cinciorosso a special authenticity. With its fine acidity and harmonious finish, it is suitable both for spontaneous wine enjoyment and as the perfect accompaniment to Tuscan cuisine – an authentic expression of the special terroir of Panzano.
