A Barbaresco with a lot of personality, in which body and tannin structure are well balanced by floral scents of undergrowth, mint and eucalyptus.

Muncagota is rich, brooding and super-expressive every year, hitting all the right notes. Black cherry, plum, spice, leather and liquorice emerge, but all very hesitantly and with plenty of aeration, better: with further bottle ageing. Muncagota is one of the examples from the famous series of nine Riserve that clearly needs time. And you should give it time, and the patient will be richly rewarded. SUPERIORE.DE
