Barolo Cannubi 2021 is a great wine that emphasises the classic beauty of Nebbiolo and the top vintage. This wine is like a statue of a Greek goddess with perfect proportions and feminine aesthetics. The bouquet is multi-layered, with bright fruits, white pepper, mint, orange peel and spicy liquorice. The tannins are polished and fine, with a hint of the characteristic limestone chalk that you sometimes taste in Cannubi. Barolo Cannubi 2021 is made from organically grown Nebbiolo clones from Michet and Lampia, planted in a tiny 0.7 hectare plot at 300 metres above sea level on the powdery white Miocene limestone soils that characterise this famous cru. The wine is refined and delicate, with rosehip, violet and pure cherry flavours. The flavours are of high vertical intensity and give the wine a particularly bright and lively bouquet.
