In the ColBajé highlands above Cividale, wines with a clear structure and delicate tension are produced – as is the case with this expressive Pinot Grigio. The vines grow in calcareous soils and benefit from significant temperature variations between day and night. Selective harvest and gentle maturation in stainless steel preserve the freshness and depth of the fruit. The wine was vinified using the traditional Ramato method, in which the must is left to macerate briefly on the skins – this gives the wine its characteristic, delicate copper hue.

In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow colour with coppery glints. The nose is precise and multi-faceted: white peach, yellow pear, grapefruit zest, a hint of acacia blossom and wet stone. On the palate, it is dry, with a fine texture, well-balanced acidity and an elegant, mineral-driven finish. A Pinot Grigio with character and distinction – not merely a 'better' Pinot Gris, but a cru-inspired statement from the Colli Orientali. SUPERIORE.DE
