In 1919, Guglielmo Negroni founded his distillery in the heart of Treviso – since then, the original recipes have been passed down from generation to generation. This Fernet is in the great tradition of Italian herbal bitters: an infusion of rhubarb, gentian, aloe and mint forms the aromatic foundation. Intense and decisive in flavour, without compromise. The dark amber colour announces what is to follow: a powerful bitter with spicy depth, balsamic notes and that characteristic menthol-fresh finish that distinguishes Fernet from the gentler Amaro. At 39% vol. as a classic digestivo after a sumptuous meal or – very Italian – with a shot of cola as a different kind of caffè corretto. Amaro al Radicchio Rosso
Classic and traditional Amaro al Radicchio Rosso from Veneto. Radicchio Rosso is a variety ripening in winter with protected designation of origin. After crushing, the leaves are soaked in up to 60% alcohol for about 3 months. After pressing and filtering, alcohol and - as usual with half bittern - some sugar are added, as well as some herbs, the mixture of which the distillery keeps strictly secret. Negronis Amaro has a fine herbal aroma with hints of orange zest after a few weeks of ripening.

This artisanal grappa is produced by slow bain-marie distillation using the discontinuous method from selected Glera marcs from the estate's own Prosecco Superiore DOCG production. The pressed marcs are immediately taken to the distillery, where they arrive fragrant and fresh. After maturing in steel tanks, the grappa rests for at least 24 months in barriques made of first-class French oak and acacia wood, where it acquires its beautiful amber hue and great finesse and softness. Fine fragrance of apricots, vanilla and honey, of medium strength on the palate, very soft and full, with remarkable length. SUPERIORE.DE

A rush to success: the Negroni distillery was soon established beyond the borders of the country and was soon transformed into an aperitif that still enjoys cult status today. 'Negroni 1919' and the exceptional quality of its Grappa di Prosecco Riserva, matured in oak barrels. The traditional Venetian company founded by Cavaliere Guglielmo Negroni is based in the municipality of Mareno di Piave in the province of Treviso and has been owned by Giancarlo Palla since the takeover of Azienda Agricola Conte Loredan Gasparini by Venegazzù S.p.A. in the early 1990s. The Grappe under the label Loredan Gasparini is still an insider tip today. In addition to this line, grape marc brandies with the Negroni label are still available in the trade. The traditional distillery from Veneto is also known for its delicious liqueurs and cocktails.
Negroni Antica Distilleria's classic grape marc brandies, mostly made from high-quality pressed residues from the Conte Loredan Gasparini winery, contain a wealth of experience and expertise. The Grappe are equally popular with beginners and proven connoisseurs. Because they incorporate many traditional and typical regional elements, the spirits regularly impress with their clean design. It is the aim of the distillery to constantly search for the best ingredients. Because of the high product quality Negroni has already been awarded the title 'Best Grappa from Veneto' was awarded.
The fresh pomace is sent warm to the distillery in sealed plastic containers. In this way, the typical characteristics of each grape variety can be preserved. Once at the distillery, the pomace is quickly distilled in small quantities in small copper stills to extract the flavours. Negroni's finest brandies are refined in oak barrels for up to three years.
The Palla family's passion for wine began in the 1960s in a winery in the southern part of the province of Treviso and grew even further in 1973 when Conte Piero Loredan transferred Giancarlo Palla a beautiful estate in Venegazzù, suitable for the production of top quality wines. Today Venegazzù S.p.A. operates as a production and distribution company for wines, grappas and spirits in more than 30 countries worldwide.
