    The vineyards around Margreid are located on a gentle slope between 220 and 350 metres above sea level and face south-southeast. The white, broodinglimestone gravel soil has a high humus content. Brilliant dark ruby red colour. Complex aroma of cherries, blackberries, blackberries and liquorice. Firm flavour, very warm and round, the silky tannins excellently proportioned.
