Less than 1,000 bottles of this Gewürztraminer Riserva are produced each year. The grapes are harvested at the end of December - just when they are finely coated with the noble fungus Botrytis cinerea. Golden, almost amber-coloured sheen, quince, dried fruit and rose petals on the nose. Concentrated on the palate, delicate honey flavour, sweet and long. SUPERIORE.DE

"This is aromatic and spicy, with sweet exotic fruit and hints of honeysuckle, beeswax and savory herbs. Full, creamy and quite sweet, yet balanced with good acidity. Round and fruit-driven on the palate, with a lot of spice and citrus notes at the end." James Suckling
