    The vineyards of the Reyna site in the hills of Neive and Barbaresco benefit from an ideal south-east to south-west exposure and reddish limestone marl, which is loosened up by sandy inclusions. The grapes are deliberately harvested late in order to achieve optimum physiological ripeness. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for around 18 months in large Allier and Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a resting period in the bottle. The 2021 vintage was characterised by a warm, stable summer and cool nights during the ageing phase, which ensured impressive aromatic precision and a taut structure.

    In the glass, it shines a clear garnet red colour. The nose combines red cherries, plums and rosehip with fine notes of rose petals and sweet spices. On the palate, dense, elegant fruit harmonises with silky, ripe tannins and lively freshness. A Barbaresco that combines power and finesse, clearly recognises its origins and cuts an excellent figure both young and mature. SUPERIORE.DE
