GROSSO is a Blanc de Noirs produced using the classic Champagne method and matures for 24 months on the fine lees. Delicate pink colour and a fine, persistent perlage. Crisp bouquet of violets, citrus peel, nectarine and wild strawberry. On the palate with a nice tang, very straightforward flavour of red berries. "The 2021 Lambrusco di Sorbara Grosso displays a slight orange hue in the glass and an inviting bouquet of peach sorbet, lemon oil and crushed stone. This sweeps across the palate with ease, mixing ripe orchard fruit with gobs of salty minerality as an almond custard-tinged richness resonates toward the close. The 2021 tapers off long and saline in character, leaving a steely sensation and hints of green apple that pinch at the cheeks." Vinous
