Plaisir is a so-called straw wine: the muscat grapes are left to dry in the vineyard after cutting. It shows itself well structured and with a fragrant and flavourful harmony of candied fruits. This extremely delicate Moscato, which was christened Kabir (the Great) in Arabic so as not to be overshadowed by the far more powerful Ben Ryé, never fails to surprise and delight. Elegant and balanced, beguiling scents of melon and orange peel, aromatic balance, sweetness and freshness on the palate. A delight with intensely flavoured cheeses and shortbread with white fruits. The grapes are harvested at the end of August when they are well ripe and then dried in 5 kg crates at 23⁰C in the fruit cellar. After about 40 days, when half of their weight has been lost, the grapes are pressed and the resulting must, which is particularly rich in sugar, ferments slowly at 18°C for over a month in stainless steel vats, where it remains until bottling.

The very rare Rosenmuskateller originally comes from Sicily and has been native to South Tyrol since the middle of the 19th century. Rosis is a floral and elegant wine, its grapes are hand-picked and air-dried. Bright ruby red in colour. A floral bouquet of roses, nutmeg and small red fruits. Ben Ryé - the great naturally sweet and world-famous white wine from Donnafugata. The grapes are harvested in mid-August and left to dry naturally for 20 to 30 days. In September, the later ripening grapes are harvested and processed fresh. The hand-picked raisined berries are added to the must in several stages during fermentation. Light orange yellow in colour. Overwhelming aromas of apricot, peach and orange peel. Creamy notes of passion fruit and peach on the palate with an impressive elegance and length. Named after the ancient Roman wine festivals, Passito Vinalia is a sweet dessert wine that goes particularly well with South Tyrolean apple strudel. The strictly selected grapes, which are air-dried after the harvest, come from the sun-drenched vineyards on the slopes of Bolzano at 300 to 400 metres above sea level. They are gently pressed around 4 months after the harvest and then fermented in used French barriques.

Golden yellow with amber-coloured nuances, the nose is captivated by the aroma of ripe apricots, pineapple, sugar melons and peaches, as well as candied exotic fruits. The flavour is impressively opulent with a very refreshing and harmonious acidity. A masterpiece! SUPERIORE.DE

Moscadello was originally the first wine from the Montalcino appellation, long before the triumphant rise of Brunello.
