“Duca Sanfelice” Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Riserva DOC 2021
Ruby red colour interspersed with slivers of garnet, with an intense and concentrated bouquet of red berries, liquorice and some flint. The flavour reveals a pleasingly juicy extract with beautifully balanced wood tones and floral notes. An excellently vinified Cirò Classico Riserva with very fine tannins and harmonious acidity - just the way friends of southern Italian wines love it. SUPERIORE.DE
"On the nose, red blackberries, a hint of cinnamon, pepper leaf and a touch of wild mint. Salty palate, with a fruity, mentholated return." Luca Gardini

Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2022
Light, bright ruby colour. Youthful nose of early ripe cherries and wild strawberries, slightly vegetal, delicately peppery and spicy on the finish. Very precise on the palate, juicy and with young tannins, crisp fruit, great drinkability, even more complete in a few months. A great accompaniment to food. SUPERIORE.DE
"Young journeyman with lots of freshness and fruitiness. Lots of sour cherry and a mineral, salty flavour. Juicy, fresh on the palate, with more sweet cherry and strawberry fruit. Red rosehips with hibiscus flowers come into play here. The tannins are very soft and supple. Refreshing in its style and despite its lively nature, it has length, plenty of fruit and perfectly defined tannins. Tastes like more even when chilled! A really good Morellino." Vinum
"Sparkling, light ruby red colour. Fresh on the nose, with crisp sour cherry and wild berries, plus a hint of rosehip. Lively acidity on the palate, juicy and with good drinking flow, right through to the finish." Falstaff
"The Morellino di Scansano 2022 is fabulous. Aromatic, sensual and inviting, the 2022 is an ideal wine to drink now and over the next few years. Silky tannins wrap around a core of dark red/purple berry fruit, lavender, rose petal, spice and menthol. All elements are very well balanced. A real charmer." Vinous
"A sweet, juicy nose of vanilla and strawberry draws balance from a light florality, along with slightly astringent undertones of blood orange, hibiscus and blackberry. On the palate, the fruit and flowers are lively and fresh, alongside harmonious tannins and acid." Wine Enthusiast
"Aromas of roses, crushed stones and light cherries. Medium body. Crisp. Very tasty. Crisp finish." James Suckling
"The "basic" Morellino from Le Pupille, confirmation of a project with great vision. Intense on the nose, black mulberry, a hint of liquorice and garrigue, spicy on the palate, with tannins perfectly integrated into the body, excellent persistence of flavour." Luca Gardini

“Rosa dei Frati” Vino Rosato VdT 2022
Attractive salmon colour, pleasant bouquet, elegant, fresh on the palate, juicy beautiful fruit, lively acid structure, subtle extract sweetness in the finish. A versatile food companion with a great enjoyment factor! SUPERIORE.DE
"Radiant pink-red. In the fragrance of strawberries and fine kitchen herbs, grapefruit. Spans juicily over the palate, rich, clear fruit core, soft and balanced, on ice candy in the final and remains fruit-sweet over." Falstaff
"Light salmon rosé. Juicy, fruity scent of red plums and ripe mirabelles, also a nice phenolic is recognisable here. Also on the palate the full juicy fruit of stone fruits and green and white berries (gooseberry). Also something vegetal like green herbs and leaves. It also shows a fine minerality. Partner for seafood and light fish dishes." Vinum
"Blend of Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera in a version of excellent drinkability and equally pleasant finesse. Nose of bergamot, green apple and hawthorn, drinkable with a nice acid shoulder and excellent tension, topped off by a finish with a citrusy return." Luca Gardini

“Vigna Monte Ceriani” Soave DOC 2020
Pale yellow, crystalline colour. Harmonious aroma of citrus fruits, especially grapefruit. Powerful on the palate, fresh, long lasting and mineral reverberation accompanied by a wonderful almond/pepper note. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. Very floral nose, pink grapefruit, elderflower and other herbaceous notes. Mouth-filling, balanced, complex, intense and very dense. Long finish highlighting the contrast between fruity and juicy." Falstaff
"Sweet nuts and lime blossom fill the glass with heady soft clouds of aroma, but the palate has a textural certainty that is anything but soft. The volcanic soils have given the wine a mineral framework, a symmetrical matrix of flint and phenol in which the flesh is deeply embedded. White pears, almond cream, white peach and lime. A hint of finely ground pepper. Fine silvery strands of acidity that thread the whole into a glittering carpet of light. "Sotto voce" splendour now, it will only get more complex, honeyed and exciting in the years to come." Jancis Robinson
"Sun-dried lemon, spiced mandarin and ripe melon on the nose, followed by a generous and intense palate with medium to full body. Almost some hay and candied fruit on the finish, but not in an old-fashioned way. Fresh and bright." James Suckling
"From Ceriani di Colognola ai Colli, historic family estate, 50-year-old vines, from pure Garganega refined in steel only, notes of clementine zest, touches of yellow grapefruit, citrus thyme and hawthorn. Savoury on the palate, citrusy return." Luca Gardini

“Duelame” Chianti Classico DOCG 2020 (BIO)
"Duelame" is the successor to the popular "Etichetta Bianca". The name is derived from the word "lama", which in geological terms refers to a kind of blade, i.e. a cut in which the village of Lamole lies between two high plateaus. Fine aromas of cherry and blueberry on the nose and palate, together with a pleasant spicy note and silky tannins, create the perfect and delicate picture of a traditional Chianti Classico. SUPERIORE.DE
"Intense nose with notes of dogwood, then notes of wild rosemary and floral hints of Idris. The drinkability is flavoursome and iodised, fruity and spicy impressions reappear." Luca Gardini

Intense ruby red, persistent, fruity bouquet with notes of wild berries, violets, cloves and cinnamon as well as sweet tobacco flavours. Concentrated, fleshy, tannic, dark fruit flavours on the palate. On the finish, the spicy flavours merge with a pleasant fruity note. An unbeatable wine every year at a very attractive price! SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark, shimmering ruby red colour. Spicy and opulent on the nose, of ripe fruit, liquorice, forest floor and tobacco. Firm tannins and savoury fruit on the palate, carried by fresh acidity, mouth-filling with medium length." Falstaff
"Spicy berries, red plums and cherries are followed by a medium-bodied palate with fresh tannins and a juicy, medium-long finish." James Suckling
"The 2019 Montecucco Rosso Riserva is dark and brooding in the glass, with suggestions of rosemary and sage, chalk dust and autumnal spice giving way to red currants. This washes across the palate, elegant and refined, with sleek red and black fruits carried across a core of vibrant acidity. It leaves a coating of fine tannins to linger along with a licorice tinge, as hints of sweet sage and violet inner florals fade." Vinous
"Multi-layered nose of cherries and menthol; pithy in the mouth, lively acidity, fresh, balanced final with an elegant final." Vinum
"Sangiovese, with the participation of Ciliegiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon, for another of the "favourite sons" of the Maremma. “Capitel Foscarino” Bianco Veneto IGT 2022
The aromatically fresh Capitel Foscarino made from Garganega and a pinch of Chardonnay is delicious. Brilliant colour in the glass, beguiling fruit on the nose, round and harmonious on the palate with wonderfully integrated acidity and beautiful length. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright yellow, speckled with green. Allusions to stones and fruit are wrapped behind cedar edges. A certain phenolic richness also contributes to a textural lattice that promises a bright future given the sheer density of the material. The finish is long, grippy and slightly salty." James Suckling
"Aromas of ripe stone fruits, lemon oil, jasmine and sweet spice lead you into the glass. Rounded, but with an electric core, the palate shows tart apricot, dried yellow flowers, roasted nuts and a distinct and complex mineral structure that captivates the senses." Wine Enthusiast
"From the mythological Foscarino hill, one of the heirlooms of the Classico zone, Garganega with a small percentage of Chardonnay, iconic and highly recognisable. White melon on the nose, notes of Mediterranean scrub, eucalyptus and camomile." Luca Gardini

“Flor” Vernaccia di Oristano DOC 2019 secco
This masterful Vernaccia matures for 4 years in small Caratello barrels, whose natural shrinkage is never topped up so that the yeast flora, which is very characteristic of this Vernaccia, forms on the surface and not only produces the characteristic flavours, but also gives it its name.
Bright ochre yellow with golden reflections. Rich, multi-layered bouquet of apricot and orange zest, rounded off with a delicate almond flavour and warm honey notes. A wonderful texture and freshness on the palate, the primary yellow-fruity flavours are present, complemented by a fine salty vein with a mineral note on the finish. An absolute delight chilled as an aperitif or at approx. 16°C with dessert! SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2019 Vernaccia di Oristano Flor bursts from the glass, a deep golden-yellow color. A rich bouquet blends dried apricots and peaches with hazelnut, almond custard and a savory whiff of crushed oysters. It is nearly glycerol in feel with cooling acidity to balance and waves of ripe pit fruits, complemented by sweet spices and hints of ground ginger. This tapers off long and staining, letting a touch of heat poke through, yet not distracting. A salty sensation lingers, and the mouth is left watering for more." Vinous
"Copper-orange in colour with pronounced floral aromas of dried lemons, olives, brine, walnuts and sourdough. Oily and full-bodied, but with a dry, salty freshness." James Suckling
"An unprecedented and unforgettable Vernaccia, with a production process of great refinement, one of the highlights of island wine. Complex notes of apricot, toasted walnut, orange blossom and orange peel on the nose, with an appealing crispness on the palate." Luca Gardini

Chianti Classico DOCG 2021
The Chianti Classico exudes beautiful fruit and spice notes, juicy and flattering on the palate. Successful - this classic from Castello di Monsanto foreshadows the style of the even greater reds from this winery. SUPERIORE.DE
"Medium to deep, youthful ruby red. Powerful and deep cherry on the nose with hints of raspberry and salty notes. Great depth of fruit on the palate with a compact layer of tannins. Impressive and boldly structured." Jancis Robinson
"It shows cherry and redcurrant with violet, blood orange and gravel. This winery was among the first to take the very lean and elegant approach to Sangiovese that is so popular today." Wine Advocate
"Intense and structured, this Annata combines ripe red and black cherries with high acidity and a super fresh balsamic quality, and just a hint of creaminess in the background. The mid palate is juicy and delicious, showing great balance through to the lovely cherry finish." Decanter
"A smooth, juicy red wine with intense aromas and flavours of blackberries, black cherries, violets, earth and graphite. The tannins leave a powdery feel on the finish, along with lively acidity. Overall, this wine is balanced and very long. Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino." Wine Spectator
"Notes of spiced cherries and red plums with walnuts, spicy herbs, dark liquorice and damp bark. Juicy and racy on the palate with medium body and polished tannins. Fresh and crisp. Supple and structured with a spicy, red-fruited finish. Very attractive." James Suckling
"Bright ruby with dark nuances. Elegant aromas of fresh cherry and raspberries, underpinned by fine spice, filigree. Very good balance on the palate, fine-grained tannin, invigorating acidity meets crisp fruit, also slightly peppery, very successful." Falstaff
"The 2021 Chianti Classico is outrageously beautiful. Rich, dark and layered, the 2021 is packed with dark red/purple fruit, lavender, spice and tobacco. harvestwill find a Chianti Classico with a striking inner sweetness and exceptional balance. The 2021 is one of the best editions of this wine I have ever tasted." Vinous
"Even in the Chianti "vintage", all the crackling quality of the house's raw material can be felt. Redcurrant on the nose, with hints of rhubarb and mentholated Valdostan mint. In the drink, iodine-salty tannins, great crispness of fruit with a fruity, mentholated finish." Luca Gardini

Traditional Chianti Classico Riserva: Ruby red, intense and refined bouquet with fruity aromas and a very gentle hint of vanilla and tobacco. Powerful on the palate, with a persistent flavour, well-balanced tannins and nicely defined body. Great length and impressive storage potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Sparkling garnet red with ruby reflections. In the nose with aromas of herbal spice, noble wood, red pepper, and plum jam. Mouth-filling on the palate, with noticeable acidity, with soft bitter notes and broad tannins." Falstaff

"Boasts juicy cherry, blackberry, plum, earth and tobacco aromas and flavors, with undertones of leafy underbrush. Firm and balanced, with a lingering aftertaste that echoes the fruit and picks up a mineral note." Wine Spectator
"Another great classic from Zingarelli family’s estate, from Castellina in Chianti area. Sangiovese, with Cabernet and Merlot to enrich the blend, berry jam on the nose, with notes of iris and peony. The mouthfeel has iodine-brackish tannins, with floral-fruity return and good persistence." Luca Gardini

“Monte Carbonare” Soave Classico DOC 2021 (BIO)
Soave Monte Carbonare is a beautiful, rich and mineral white wine. Complex aromas of apricot, citrus and orange, structured, expansive and fresh in flavour. Good ageing potential and highly drinky - ideally aerate sufficiently before drinking! SUPERIORE.DE
"Elegant, bright straw yellow colour with gold. Elegant, delicate citrus scent on the nose, fine flowers, green apple and a hint of tropical fruit, appears cool. Balanced on the palate, with great tension and beautiful play, stony, sparse and with great length." Falstaff
"The 2021 Soave Classico Monte Carbonare is decidedly savory, displaying notes of crushed rocks and dried flowers that give way to white peach and hints of gingery spice. It sweeps across the palate with a silky, textural wave of liquid florals and ripe pit-fruits, riding along a core of vibrant acidity. Notions of candied lime and saline minerals linger through the long and youthfully tense finale as the 2021 leaves a confectionary air of spice." Vinous
"Charming aromatic profile with a strong fruit centre lined with layers of herbs and nuts. Burgundian, nutty nuances, honey-glazed almonds, lemon curd and a hint of smoke lend the wine charm. Lively, acid-accentuated finish. Beautiful intensity and a great life ahead." Decanter
"Red volcanic iron soils with plenty of black basalt in the centre. Goes well with the later-ripening Garganega, while the screw cap promotes the freshness sought at this address. 6 ha. 60-70 year old vines in cooler sites that are rising to the crème de la crème of top sites as the climate warms. A richer wine than the younger Classico, but without the same cheeky vitality. While the Classico is an unbeatable everyday wine, this is a complex wine that demands food and a little more contemplation. Mirabelle plum, apricot pit, a hint of dried mango and plenty of smoky, sharp mineral grip, with dutiful freshness that has a chewy length. Drinkable now, but best from 2025." James Suckling
"Sixty-year-old plants which, thanks to the soil, in which the presence of black basalt plays an important role, and organic farming, provide a raw material of great crispness. On the nose, notes of lychee, yellow melon, hawthorn and field grass. Iodine-fruity on the palate with a floral finish." Luca Gardini

“Saia” Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC 2020 (BIO)
The pure Nero d'Avola is bursting with dark aromas of berries, black cherry, liquorice and tobacco. Lush and distinctive on the palate with wonderful spicy notes of mint, aniseed and espresso. Juicy tannins, good length, fine pressure. A really great wine of impressive intensity at a still very reasonable price, incidentally certified organic since the 2020 vintage! SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark ruby; cooked wild berries, arouses curiosity; juicy, clear tannin, cherry fruit, crisp, good length." Merum
"Very intense dark violet colour. Intense aromas of sour cherries and plums on the nose, accompanied by notes of leather and white pepper. In the mouth it is powerful but balanced, very drinky, also thanks to a fine tannin structure, persistent and savoury." Falstaff
"Deep crimson. Brooding and subdued fruit with a hint of leather. Fluid, elegant and juicy. Long and suave, with finely ground tannins. A truly elegant new-school Nero d’Avola." Jancis Robinson
"The Saia 2020 is seductively dark and opens with a blend of red plums, sage, smoke and tangerine peel. It is soft and round and shows ripe red and blue fruits, sweet herbs and dark chocolate. The juicy acidity ensures that the 2020 finishes long and pleasantly acidic. Traces of sour citrus fruits slowly fade away. This incredibly beautiful Nero d'Avola wants to please." Vinous
"This medium to full-bodied red wine is well-structured and balanced, with a slight hint of balsamico acidity that enlivens concentrated flavours of blackberry, roasted plum, violet, espresso and smoke. The fine tannins provide fine definition and firm up the slightly chalky finish." Wine Spectator
"The organically certified 2020 Sicilia Saia is a pure Nero d'Avola from one of the most beautiful areas of rural Sicily in Noto. This red wine shows medium concentration with dark fruits, ripe cherries, black olives and sweet earthy tones. It is richly structured and finishes with soft, sweet tannins. This is a great wine for the kitchen." Wine Advocate
"Aromas of black liquorice, crushed plums and ground spices. Medium to full body with powdery but firm tannins. Fresher and crisper than previous vintages. The red and black fruits on the palate are nicely articulated by a steady acidity and some mineral notes." James Suckling
"Pure Nero d'Avola from the area between Noto and Pachino, 14 months in French barriques, a wine of great stature. On the nose, notes of blackberries, violets and a hint of juniper on the finish. Compact and juicy on the palate, with brackish tannins, fruity flavours and a long, spicy finish." Luca Gardini

“Vigneto Giardino Asciutto” Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Superiore Rive di Colbertaldo DOCG 2022 dry
Bright light greenish yellow, fragrant bouquet of meadow flowers, a hint of apple, acacia honey and biscuits. Fine on the palate and very complex with its fine, fresh fruit flavours and a delicate, salty note on the full finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"A legendary single-vineyard sparkling wine that never fails to impress: complex bouquet with floral and citrus notes; creamy on the palate, carried by the crisp acidity, juicy and fresh until the long final." Vinum
"Transparent straw yellow with persistent perlage. Elegant nose of pear, apple and meadow flowers. Pleasant fruity flavours on the palate with a fine perlage and a refreshing final." Falstaff
"Acacia and citrus blossom aromas open the nose of this lively Prosecco. Notes of Fuji apple and quince flow from the glass. On the palate, it is crisp and fresh with a gentle perlage that offers lemon, pear and a hint of almond." Wine Enthusiast
"Basil, mint and pear notes. Almost flamboyant, and yet the Adami approach to detail and inherent tension draw this into a taut taper. A hint of sherbet and bath salts in the finish." James Suckling
"A mythological vineyard in the appellation, emblematic in the return of raw material of refined elegance. A pure Glera, an odour that opens on notes of lime, then tabacchiera peach, wild sage and jasmine, the taste is iodine-salty, crisp, with a fruity-floral return." Luca Gardini

“Berardenga” Chianti Classico DOCG 2021
Sangiovese in its purest form: bright ruby colour with a broad garnet rim. Rich in fruity and floral aromas, multi-layered, herbal, deep and well-polished with further development potential. A full-bodied and harmonious Chianti Classico with a highly authentic and very inviting style. SUPERIORE.DE
"Brilliant ruby red colour. Deep cherry flavour with dark spice notes. Concentrated, supple and full-bodied. Impressive structure with powdery tannins that have yet to settle." Jancis Robinson
"Animating cherry, cassis and herbs, shows its pithy side with a bite, salty vein and tart charm, is robust and lingers for a long time. The classic from the south of the growing region." Weinwisser
"The Fèlsina 2021 Chianti Classico Berardenga has a savoury or crisp side that I often find in Sangiovese. There's a lot of fruit brightness here with cassis, red cherries, minerals, dried tobacco and grilled rosemary. This is an easy-drinking Tuscan red wine with a natural acidity and brightness that goes well with a classic lasagne or aubergine parmigiana." Wine Advocate
"The 2021 begins with smoky nuances, earth and subtle oak, before moving into fragrant mint and thyme. It is concentrated and ripe, but balanced by freshness and vibrancy. The underlying firmness gradually dissipates to reveal a spicy finish of dried tomatoes." Decanter
"The Chianti Classico Berardenga 2021 is impetuous and expressive right from the glass. Dark fruits, earthy notes, leather, spices and tobacco convey the character of Castelnuovo Berardenga in tonnes. The wine gets better and better in the glass. It's a super-classic example of the house style and a wine to buy by the case. The Berardenga bottling can be a little wild, but in 2021 it has an added touch of sophistication that is undeniable." Vinous
"Sparkling ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. Fresh raspberries and strawberries on the nose, then a touch of forest floor and sour cherry. Fresh and juicy on the palate, with well-integrated tannins, long and fruity final." Falstaff
"A firm and silky red wine with aromas and flavours of cherries, dried flowers and orange peel. It is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a fresh and concentrated finish. It still needs some time to mellow, but I'm already enjoying its energy." James Suckling
"Nose of red raspberry, touches of wild sage and floreal finish, with nuances of lavender. The drinkability is crunchy-sapid, good persistence with a return of Taggiasca olive." Luca Gardini
