There's a dried rose petal in there, pressed between tissue-paper-fine leaves of pear and dried-apple crisps, smoke lines. A teaspoon tip of green cardamom, scattered lemon flowers, a lick of curd butter. This is a Pinot Grigio that stands in a class of its own. Bone dry, but carrying rich power.
