The Campania winegrowers look back on the dream year of 2019 with joy and satisfaction. Everything was just right here and the quality and quantity of the grapes harvested left hardly anything to be desired. Full, rich ruby red. On the nose, captivating notes of black cherries, cocoa, graphite and sweet spices, with white smoke and dried flowers in the background. On the palate, with beguiling extract sweetness and further fruity textures that interweave with salty flavours and a subtle minerality that make up a typical Terra di Lavoro. The polished tannins and a hint of graphite round off the never-ending taste experience, leaving the wine to be remembered as a true beauty. Challenging and enticing, just the way you like it! "The polished oak hits the nose straight away, but then comes a fabulous array of black fruit with dark plums, blackcurrants and berries, as well as some coffee cream and chocolate. Full-bodied and intense with silky layers of fruit, dark chocolate and fine, grainy tannins that pick up a lot of the fruit and savory flavors, driving to a long finish. Delicious to taste now, even drink, but will continue to improve in the bottle. Best from 2023." James Suckling
