Bòggina Bianco is an extremely deep, spicy and fresh Trebbiano from approximately 50-year-old vines. It was born from Luca Sanjust's meeting with Lucien Le Moine (Mounir Souma), a great producer in Burgundy, who contributed significantly to the success of this exceptional project with inspiration and know-how. Vinification takes place in French oak barrels and tonneaux specially made for this wine and selected by Lucien Le Moine. The wine remains "sur lies" (on the lees) for the entire ageing period of over 2 years, which gives it an immensely fresh aroma and harmony. L'Alberello is a beautiful Bolgheri Superiore made primarily from Cabernet. The wine comes from a two-hectare plot planted entirely with long rows of Alberello vines planted at an altitude of 30 metres above sea level on predominantly clayey soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and the wine matures for 18 months in barriques. This vintage is very generous and broad in terms of flavour and texture, with finely polished tannins. Starts fresh and vehement with warm, dark fruit flavours, then opens up further with a bouquet of herbs, coffee and a pinch of pepper. Marilisa and Franco Allegrini dedicated this single-varietal Cabernet Franc from their own vineyards on Via Bolgherese to their eldest brother Walter, who passed away in 2003. The 2015 vintage marked the beginning of an even more radical focus on the terroir and the quality of the grapes. Since then, a third fewer bottles have been filled each year, resulting in a Bolgheri Superiore from the estate's own grapes from the Bolgheri core zone that is hard to beat in terms of elegance and character. The grapes for this exceptional Merlot, bottled exclusively in only a few magnum bottles, come from vines of the winery that are over 30 years old. Actually vinified only for our own consumption and good friends, we managed to obtain a few bottles for our customers.

On the nose, fresh notes of crisp red fruits, along with balsamic notes reminiscent of the vegetation of this upper part of the Maremma. Indeed, the blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot marks a return to a more typical blend after the pendulum swung to 62% Cabernet Sauvignon in 2019 and 51% Merlot in 2018. Fine-grained and beautifully structured, its finely integrated tannins support a concentration of black fruits brightened by red berries. Aromas of black cherry, liquorice, dark chocolate, cedar and damp earth make for a fragrant wine, accompanied by menthol and balsamic notes that permeate the wine and give it plenty of freshness. The finish reveals a stony and salty element, along with chocolaty and woody hints. It is dense and tasty, its ripe fruit combined with freshness and structure cleverly telling the story of this vintage, which ripens earlier. In the mouth it lacks complexity - time will tell - but the variety of flavours gives a hint of what is to come." Decanter
