The Falesco winery is one of Italy's biggest wine producers and what is bottled here stands for a new wine culture in the region. The company belongs to the Riccardo and Renzo Cotarella brothers and is located in Montefiascone, on the shores of Lake Bolsena. The brothers are no strangers in the Italian wine scene: Riccardo, the older one, is a brilliant enologist and wine consultant and advises dozens of wineries in central and southern Italy. Renzo, the younger of the Cotarella brothers, is "winemaker" and technical director at Antinori and successor of the legendary Giacomo Tachis.
