The Azienda Ascheri is a classic family business with 28 hectares of vineyards in the very best locations in Barolo. Matteo Ascheri runs the 'Podere di Rivalta' vineyard in La Morra and the 'Podere di Sorano' vineyard in Serralunga together with the enologist Giuliano Bedino and the agronomist Edoardo Monticelli. The famous sites and the clean vinification style produce excellent terroir wines. The grappa from the fresh marc of Ascheri is distilled in the 'Distilleria Villa Rosati' in Neive. SUPERIORE.DE
