    Just imagine: Kilometres of dry stone walls made of green tuff, built by Ischitanian stonemasons, have been securing steep terraces and enabling heroic viticulture on the volcanic island of Ischia for centuries. These "Parracine" give their name to a new winery project that .

    Ischia, an island with over 2,500 years of wine history, combines volcanic soils, salty sea air and an ancient . The Costa delle Parracine winery is being built here in Forio – a project by Feudi di San Gregorio and Tenuta C'est la Vie. At its centre is a , completely dug out of the tuff. Pierpaolo Sirch, known for his precise style that is true to the terroir, is responsible for the wines.

    The grow on four hectares of terraces. The vines, which are around 25 years old, thrive at an altitude of 300 metres in pure volcanic rock. Both wines from the 2024 vintage are to capture the clarity, saltiness and mineral tension of the soil.
