Deep, dark ruby red in colour, with a rich fruit concentrate of cherry, elderberries, wild berries and a pinch of pepper on the nose. Wonderful harmony of supple tannins and fine acidity on the palate, with subtle notes of maraschino cherry and spices. Fine toasted flavours on the long, very elegant finish. "For me, this is still a totally underrated wine that is an attractive alternative to the superstars for the price-conscious. Elegant, mineral-influenced bouquet with fine Cabernet spice, cassis, red plums and dark red fruits, also mineral-earthy notes. Lots of freshness with a fine reduction. Elegant and finely woven on the medium-bodied palate, a real ballerina, precise tannins that lay beautifully over the tightly woven body, very powerful with lots of freshness in the mid-palate and final.
