    Intense, dense ruby red colour. The nose is caressed by fruity notes reminiscent of berries, finishing with coffee flavours, dark chocolate and roasted wood.     "The 2021 Rosso di Montalcino is impossible to ignore, wafting up with a mentholated freshness that gives way to hauntingly dark florals and crushed blackberries. It's soothingly round and supple with ripe red fruits and cooling acidity as a flourish of sweet spice emerges toward the close. It leaves a licorice and a bitter balsamic tinge while maintaining a lovely freshness. Fanti did a wonderful job with the dry warmth of the vintage.
