Der Chianti Classico von Istine gehört zu den wohl rassigsten und sortenreinsten Vertretern seiner Gattung. Seine Schwerelosigkeit und zugleich Präzision machen einen Großteil seines Reizes aus. Fein gestricktes Bouquet nach roten Beerenfrüchten, Blumen, Kreide und weißem Pfeffer. Im Antrunk mittelgewichtig, mit weiterer Belüftung kommen seine feine Frucht, die cremigen Tannine und jede Menge Persönlichkeit ans Tageslicht.
