Barolo Castiglione ist der preiswerteste der fünf Barolo des Hauses und demonstriert eindrucksvoll das hohe Niveau Viettis. Er beginnt seinen großen Auftritt mit dichten Aromen von getrockneten Kirschen, Pflaumen und Teer und fügt dann Noten von weißen Blumen und Gewürzen an. Es folgen mineralische Schattierungen und Erinnerungen an Rauchfleisch. Am Gaumen ebenso vielschichtig und komplex, griffig die seidigen Tannine. Er besitzt bereits in jüngeren Jahren eine feine Frucht und Finesse, die ihn als einen der herausragenden Vertreter der Appellation identifiziert. SUPERIORE.DE
