    "The Ampeleia 2018 Cabernet Franc is an organic wine that opens to a luminous dark-ruby appearance. The wine is made with 20% whole cluster, and the fruit is sourced from the high-elevation Vigna dell'Asina, which is characterized by local soils known as galestro and palombino with elements of schist and limestone. This wine is very true to the variety with dark fruit and blackberry, spice and a green note of grilled rosemary or wild sage." Robert Parker
