    It was not until the turn of the millennium that the Sada family began to offer its services in Casale Marittimo - an area where, at an altitude of 300 metres, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea. – with a lot of energy, ingenuity and farsightedness. Over the years the area under cultivation has been extended to Bibbona and Bolgheri. The hills of the vineyard managed by Davide Sada are planted with vines and include an area of about one hectare in which weakly growing vines - surrounded by olive trees - receive no support (buscher training). Under the expert guidance of the oenologist Maurizio Castelli, the Agricola Sada produces elegant wines with their own style and unmistakable identity in high quality. The concept of the family is that all products are traded as IGT.

    Davide Sada was lucky to have had a creative grandfather. Its invention - canned meat - established a worldwide flourishing industry. The Milan industrialist wants to build on the great successes of his ancestor. On a total of 16 hectares of vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Montepulciano and Alicante grow on alluvial loam and limestone soils in the still young but already very successful estate. The nature of the soil and the temperate microclimate allow the grapes to ripen naturally. The intense light and the wind blowing both during the day and at night ensure a particularly dry climate. On the hills of Casale Marittimo, the clay and sandstone soils of Davide's wife, the Countess Cristiana Durini di Monza, are also home to preferred grapes of the autochthonous Vermentino variety. The descendant of a respected Lombard banker family had been able to convince her husband to settle in Tuscany and acquire a vineyard there after selling the food production to the US company Kraft Foods.

    Among the wines of the Agricola Sada awarded by wine critics, for example, the very inexpensive Integolo Rosso, according to the producer an ideal wine for every day. It is obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon and Monepulciano. After the grapes have been vinified together, the wines rest for three months in stainless steel vats until they are bottled next spring.
