• "La Manina" Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2019 (BIO)

“La Manina” Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2019 (BIO)

"La Manina - young generation. Fresh and cheerful, upbeat and yet always carefree. A wine for people of today." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Winery Manincor

The elegant and sophisticated form of the light summer wine: With the La Manina, Manincor once again knows how to combine the expected high demand and drinking flow. Fruity after quince, lychee and pink grapefruit, followed by a fresh herbiness with sage and mint. A wine that can hardly be surpassed in drinkability - and that in the proven Manincor style. SUPERIORE.DE

"It wafts up from the glass with pungent yellow florals, complicated by notes of crushed stone, lime zests and flint. It’s silky and smooth, contrasted by zesty, citrus-infused acids and minerals which cut through those soft textures, adding tension and verve but also a welcome inner sweetness. The cheeks pucker and the palate aches for another sip through the long and mouthwatering finale." Vinous

"A dense, layered white with sliced pineapple, green apples and some minerals. It’s full-bodied and flavorful." James Suckling

Moscato Giallo Alto Adige DOC 2019 (BIO)

"Grapes in a jar. Five times a day fruits and vegetables, they say. With our cheerfully bright Goldmuskateller made from sun-soaked grapes - properly tempered - it's a joy!" Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

Bright straw-yellow Goldmuskateller from an extremely steep, sun-drenched slope with warm, loamy limestone gravel soils. Delicate scent of grapefruit, nutmeg and cedar. On the palate finely fruity, juicy, tart, mineral and with a long-lasting aroma. SUPERIORE.DE

"Pale pale yellow with a shimmering core. Restrained nose, of kindling and graphite, shy white floral scent. Round and fine on the palate, of medium structure, balanced, very clear fruit, dry in attack and course." Falstaff

"The 2019 Moscato Giallo seduces the senses with a bouquet of sweet spring flowers mixed with notes of apricot, kiwi and orange zests. It’s fleshy at first, firming up through a mix of salty minerals and tart apple fruit, with a coating of exotic liquid floral extract that pinches at the cheeks. The mouth waters for another sip throughout the remarkably pretty finale." Vinous

"This is really perfumed with rose-petal and nectarine aromas that follow through to a full body with a waxy texture and lots of intense flavors. Rose-soap and rose-petal character to the citrus at the end. Unique flavors." James Suckling

“der Keil” Vernatsch Lago di Caldaro DOC 2019 (BIO)

"Back to the origin. Uncomplicated and charming, fruity and elegant and that in incorruptible quality, that's how we understand the wine for which the world thinks it knows us." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

Kalterersee Classico from old Vernatsch vines of various varieties from a south-facing slope with a lake view called Keil. Bright, light ruby, finely fruity bouquet of cherries and roasted almonds, juicy and easy-drinking on the palate with an elegant finish. SUPERIORE.DE

"Powerful, bright cherry-ruby. Fragrant and very inviting nose, of violets and fresh wild strawberries, underpinned by finely spicy vegetal nuances. Fresh, fruity, juicy on the palate, with delicate tannin and a medium-weight course, nice spiciness, open-hearted and fruit-driven on the final." Falstaff

"Pale in color, but the complex nose of amarena cherries, red flowers and mint is very striking. Sleek, yet warm with a very interesting interplay of cherry fruit and fine-grained, moderately dry tannins through the long, almost weightless finish." James Suckling

“Réserve della Contessa” Alto Adige Terlano DOC 2019 (BIO)

"Its secret is refinement and elegance, one almost wants to say noblesse. A white wine of delicate colour and delicate aromas, as if made to accompany festive hours." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

Réserve della Contessa - the feminine wine. Delicate, shimmering colour, the bouquet of fresh elegance after green apple, ripe apricot and a breath of sage. Dense, long and with fine melting on the palate. Rare noblesse! SUPERIORE.DE

"Very pale straw yellow. Restrained on the nose with hints of sugar melon and meadow flowers. Juicy and clean palate entry, present, plays around skillfully between acidity and fruit, youthful character, should still rest." Falstaff

"The sweetly perfumed and elegant 2019 Riserva della Contessa from Manincor is composed of 55% Pinot Bianco, 30% Chardonnay and 15% Sauvignon. The bouquet is understated and pulls you closer to the glass with a display of dusty dried florals, ripe apricots and yellow apples, turning a bit tropical with time in the glass. Its textures are soothing and soft, coating all that they touch in sweet mineral-laced orchard fruits. There’s a perception of vibration created by its zesty minerality, as this finishes clean and precise." Vinous

"A white with lots of floral, flint and stone character to the sliced cooked apples. It’s full bodied and layered with so much fruit. Lightly chewy at the end. From biodynamically grown grapes." James Suckling

Pinot Blanc Eichhorn shows a light golden hue with beautiful aromas of lemon peel, orange marmalade and ripe pear. The taste is clear, fruity and long. Modern classic and casual elegance from Manincor. SUPERIORE.DE

"Color and aroma that tell of blue berries from deep forests, velvety and length that make you forget about time. Made from the autochthonous Lagrein grape." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

Translucent purple, aromas of dark berries on the nose, plus the ripe notes of plum and subtle sweetness of elderberry syrup. Well corresponding impressions in the taste and dense, soft tannins result in a velvety harmony. SUPERIORE.DE

"Deep dark, rich garnet red. Opens on the nose on ripe dark berry notes, after elderberries, gentle sour cherry, reminiscent of strawberry jam, chocolate powder in the aftertaste. On the palate fine and fruity after cassis, warm and soft, spreads over the tongue with gentle tannin, elegant style, long finish." Falstaff

"Aromatic and intriguing with blackberries, black licorice, burnt orange and some green tea. Even soya. Medium body, lightly chewy tannins and a tangy, fruity finish. Very typical for the grape." James Suckling

"The 2018 Lagrein Rubatsch from Manincor is complex, dark and intense. It lifts from the glass with a savory display of musky blackberry and currants surrounded by an air of exotic brown spice and smoky minerality. Silky, elegant textures coat all that they touch in tart black raspberry and wild blueberry fruits, lifted by zesty, mouthwatering acids, as fine tannins slowly mount toward the close. The cheeks pucker while the palate aches for another sip, and notes of violet florals and licorice slowly fade. This is a serious Lagrein that should excel with a few years of cellaring." Vinous

    • "Mason di Mason" Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC 2017 (BIO)

“Mason di Mason” Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC 2017 (BIO)

"The best of the best - this is not a wine you drink every day. It needs attention, time to mature and likes to play the leading role: as the crowning glory of a festive table or even as a proud solitaire." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Manincor Winery

Noble and pure, the Mason di Mason Pinot Nero shines with aromas of raspberry, rose petal, underbrush and sweet spices. Elegant and seamlessly round on the palate with incredible balance, complexity and detail. A knockout Pinot Noir! SUPERIORE.DE

"Sparkling, brightening ruby garnet. Very appealing nose with notes of raspberry, pomegranate, goji berries and fine spices, exciting. Round and supple on the attack and finish, opens with plenty of fine-mesh tannin, lots of layers, salty and deep in the mid-palate, round and very long." Falstaff

"Bright red. Very refined, spicy red fruit and flowers on the inviting nose. Then similarly inviting flavors of red and dark berries, plus complicating notes of licorice in the mouth. Finishes clean and bright, with excellent length and bright floral echoes. Nicely done." Vinous

    About the winemakersManincorTrentino-South Tyrol
    Manincor

Sustainable and ecological management in close connection with expressive regional wines - this is, so to speak, the creed of the Counts Enzenberg. Michael and Sophie Goëss-Enzenberg have been working uncompromisingly to achieve their ambitious and top-quality goals since they took over the more than 400-year-old Manincor winery in 1996, which is beautifully situated on a gentle hill above Lake Caldaro. With 50 hectares of vineyards, the winery is the largest winery in South Tyrol that exclusively processes its own grapes.

In 2005 Manincor started to work biodynamically. Two years later, the winegrowers and their colleagues founded the group "Respekt" in order - as it says - "to find a sustainable way to authentic quality with like-minded people". Since the 2009 vintage, the family business has been completely certified in accordance with EU organic guidelines and by the Demeter Association.

The Manincor Winery combines tradition and modernity in a unique and extremely consistent way. The almost invisible new wine cellar, which was completed in 2004, is an architectural masterpiece and one of the top locations. Around 3,000 square metres of space on three underground floors offer ample space for large wooden barrels, barriques, fermentation containers, stainless steel tanks and presses as well as for the bottling plant and bottle storage. Thanks to the charismatic cellar master and estate director Helmuth Zozin, a luminary in the wine world and a connoisseur of the biodynamic production philosophy, the vineyards and cellars are always up to date.

The fine, elegant drops from the northern Italian wine house are of impressive contour and clarity. Count Goëss-Enzenberg, also president of the Association of Independent Wine Growers of South Tyrol, divides the range of his wines into three lines: Hand, heart and crown. Connoisseurs attest the whites a unique refined elegance and naturalness, the reds are classified as unmistakable in their character. More and more, Manincor's noble wines are being appreciated for their high awards and best ratings in wine guides and trade journals. Thus, Slow Winethe winery regularly awards with the snail (Chiocciola), which stands for characteristics such as good, clean and genuine. The Gambero Rossocompany received the Special Award "Sustainable Winery of the Year 2016". The Goëss-Enzenberg family has defined the most important goals for the coming years as follows: they want to become as energy self-sufficient as possible and continue to work at full speed on biodiversity. SUPERIORE.DE

"Owner Michael Goëss-Enzenberg and director Helmuth Zozin have found a common denominator in the cellar: Respect for nature and respect for biodynamic principles without ifs or buts." Gambero Rosso
