"del Pompiere" Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC 2020

Mario Schiopetto was born in 1930, he grew up in the Osteria ai Pompieri owned by the family and had his first professional experiences as a fireman and later as a truck driver. In 1963, guided only by his taste and love of wine, he began to devote himself to wine production in his parents' farm and produced the first pure Tocai in 1965. At the time, the historic label included a drawing of his fire truck, which he also used to deliver wine to customers. With the current 2019 vintage, the winery is reflecting on these historical roots and is reviving the cute drawing on part of its wine labels.

Pinot Gris from Friuli with green apple and orange blossom, a hint of wet stones and coriander on the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate and wonderfully fresh on the final. Appealingly sophisticated. SUPERIORE.DE
