"The Castelli del Duca project was born in 1999 from the collaboration between the Medici family, which has been active in the Lambrusco Reggiano area for a long time, and the Consorzio Terre dei Farnese, which includes several important wine houses in the Colli Piacentini. The Consorzio selected the best vineyards for the cultivation of Barbera, Bonarda, Malvasia and Sauvignon, while the Medici took over the sales management of the company. The technical and oenological advice was entrusted to the well-known producer Carlo Corino.
