Oltre in Vallo - a noble spirit aged for 24 months in oak casks and 6 months in casks of single malt Scotch whisky. It combines the Highlands and Monferrato, because the casks come from the oldest and most renowned distilleries in Scotland: Lagavulin, Caol Ila and Mortlach, which wrote the history of the best Scotch Whisky.

Grappa Riserva Oltre il di Lidia is a refined blend of the marcs of Piedmont's Barbera and Moscato grapes. DiLidia matures in barrels previously used for Marsala production in the Canelli wineries in Sicily. A tradition from the fifties and sixties, preserved and continued by Lidia Canelles and Paolo Berta.

Twenty years have passed since the Berta family left Nizza Monferrato. Today, with the acquisition of Castelletto dell'Annunziata, they are returning to the homeland where Paolo began writing his impressive story. To celebrate the return, a special grappa is being produced. A Piedmontese grappa, made from the best marcs that this land at the foot of the mountains has to offer. A new product, but with an old history. A homage to the land and a grappa that tastes like coming home.

Grappa Riserva 2001 from Nebbiolo da Barolo and Barbera d'Asti named after the founder Paolo Berta. The perfection for lovers of very old brandies. Despite the turmoil of the Second World War, the Berta family had managed to enable the last-born to study. When Paolo left university in 1947 with a diploma in viticultural engineering, he transferred his parents' business in Nizza Monferrato to the "Distilleria Berta di Berta Paolo".

Today, 75 years later, the Berta family is celebrating this anniversary with a terrific Riserva bottled exclusively in magnums in an edition of just 2,800 bottles. It is an exquisite assemblage from the vintages 1983 to 1994 of the legendary Riserva del Fondatore, nobly packaged in a cassette made of Italian root wood. SUPERIORE.DE
