Boscarelli | Toskana
Der kleine Familienbetrieb Poderi Boscarelli wurde 1962 von den Eheleuten Paola Corradi und Ippolito De Ferrari gegründet. Heute wird Boscarelli von deren Tochter Paola De Ferrari geleitet. Gemeinsam mit den Söhnen Luca und Nicolò werden 18 Hektar Rebenland auf dem Hügel von Cervognano bewirtschaftet. Eine vortreffliche Lage im Montepulciano-Gebiet.
Auf den Weinbergen werden 80% Sangiovese und 20% Canaiolo, Mammolo, Cabernet und Merlot kultiviert. Boscarelli produziert nur etwa 60 bis 80.000 Flaschen jährlich: 40.000 Flaschen 'Vino Nobile' und bis zu 12.000 Flaschen von der Riserva 'Nocio' - ein Cru von drei Hektar in optimaler, sonniger Position. In guten Jahrgängen werden ca. 6.000 Flaschen des Boscarelli - ein IGT aus Sangiovese, Cabernet und Merlot - vinifiziert. Hinzu kommen noch ungefähr 15.000 Flaschen vom Rosso De Ferrari.
